The Review
This Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown review covers a stay while exploring the city. The hotel sits right in the middle of the action — restaurants, shopping and transit all within walking distance, making it an easy base for getting around.
I was upgraded to a suite on this stay. Having separate living, dining and bedroom areas makes a genuine difference when you are staying more than one night — it doesn’t feel like you are living out of a suitcase. Comfortable and practical without being flashy.
The location works particularly well for cruise passengers. Granville Station is about a 14 minute walk from the hotel, giving you a solid transit option beyond just relying on Uber.
Amenities cover the basics well — gym, pool, restaurant, self-service laundry and an ATM in the lobby. Nothing surprising but everything you actually need is there.
Solid value for a central Vancouver location. This was also where the Crash Course Hotels journey began.
