$45 a night Bukit Bintang base with Jalan Alor Food Street at the door and two transit stations within 7 minutes
Here’s the review:
This ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang review covers a $45 a night budget option in one of KL’s most central and walkable neighborhoods — and the location is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here.
Jalan Alor Food Street is essentially outside the front door. One of KL’s most famous street food destinations with a wide range of cuisine options at very reasonable prices — having that on your doorstep at a $45 price point is a genuine advantage. Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is an 18 minute walk for anyone wanting a more traditional mall experience.
The transit connections are excellent. Imbi Monorail Station is a 3 to 5 minute walk connecting directly to KL Sentral and Bukit Nanas. Bukit Bintang MRT Station is 5 to 7 minutes away on the Kajang Line giving you quick access to the Tun Razak Exchange and Muzium Negara. Between the two stations you can reach most of KL without a Grab.
The room is basic and functional — what you would expect at this price point in this location. The gym and self-service laundry are on site. Breakfast is minimal but included.
At $45 a night in Bukit Bintang with Jalan Alor at the door and two transit stations within walking distance, the location is the product here — and it delivers.
