Stunning boutique hotel with KL Tower views and some of the best breakfast in the city
This Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park review covers a four day stay while filming for Crash Course Hotels — and this one is genuinely one of the standout properties in the catalogue.
The location is exceptional. The hotel sits directly across the street from KL Tower and Eco Park, which also serves as the pickup and drop-off point for the KL bus tour — making it one of the most convenient bases for first-time visitors wanting to see the city. The nearest transit is Bukit Nanas Monorail Station at around a 29 minute walk, so factor that in if you are planning to move around by rail.
The design throughout is beautiful. The rooms carry a local KL motif with genuine attention to detail — large beds, great air conditioning, strong WiFi and a level of style that sets this property apart from the standard business hotel. I received a suite upgrade on this stay which made an already impressive room exceptional.
The pool area delivers stunning views over the city, and Silver Monkey Restaurant matches it — both the views and the food are well above average. Breakfast offers a full buffet alongside a la carte options daily, which is one of the better breakfast setups I have encountered.
Gym and pool on site. No self-service laundry.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting a stylish KL base with an unbeatable location.
