Premium KLCC base with a 33rd floor pool and one of the better executive lounges in the city
This Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre review covers a four day stay while filming for Crash Course Hotels — long enough to get a genuine feel for what the property delivers.
The location is hard to beat. The KLCC Golden Triangle area is right on your doorstep, Suria KLCC Shopping Mall is an 8 minute walk, and KLCC LRT Station is around 12 minutes on foot — making it easy to get around the city without a car. Swood Smokehouse is less than 5 minutes away and worth a visit for anyone craving BBQ.
The breakfast here is excellent and the executive lounge is one of the better ones I have experienced — a genuine highlight for winding down at the end of the day.
The pool and fitness area on the 33rd floor are another standout. There is a see-through glass walkway next to the pool for those who enjoy that kind of thing — not for the faint hearted. Amenities include a gym and pool. No self-service laundry on site.
A strong choice for anyone wanting a premium Kuala Lumpur base with easy access to KLCC and the city’s best shopping.
